The determination of the length of the project will be based on the type of work being proposed along with the complexity of the project.
Work that extends into two Thesis classes will be approved at the beginning of Thesis 1, not at the end. Realistic planning will guide the opportunity that students have for completing the work.
Thesis work will consist of new projects and reworking of 3 existing pieces. Projects may be designed around a competitive festival related to their course of study.

Students are encouraged to work as a group and to provide assistance to other students within the thesis courses to complete their projects. Animation projects that are over 30 seconds per semester will need to have a partner to complete.
During the course of the semester, I will be asking you to read a series of articles to either discuss during the next class period or to write briefly on. The articles will deal with subjects to help you refine your portfolio building skills and to help focus your efforts towards graduating and your career.
Students will create an imaging, animation or interactive project that demonstrates their aesthetic voice as well as their technical skills. The student will provide in writing for the professor a list of project goals and outcomes based on the project templates provided in the Project Overview pages.
Goals are submitted by the student and approved by the Prof. Goals once approved cannot be redefined unless approved by the student and the Prof.
